CATS Cambridge UFP Students Progressing To Top UK Universities  

We are celebrating our University Foundation Programme (UFP) students’ academic achievements as they receive their results today. This hardworking cohort are now looking forward to continuing their academic journeys at some of the top UK universities in Autumn 2024. 

I am delighted with the results achieved by the students on our University Foundation Programme. I also congratulate them on their top UK university placements. 

The UFP at CATS Cambridge offers a clear pathway to some of the best universities in the UK for international students.

Today’s excellent results sees our UFP students leaving to us to join competitive undergraduate courses at Durham University, the University of Bristol, and the University of Bath. Our students will be reading a variety of degree subjects, including Law, Mechanical Engineering and Economics. 

These talented students have bright futures ahead of them. We look forward to seeing what they achieve next.

A Path to Top UK Universities

CATS Cambridge has an excellent record in supporting international students to obtain top UK university places. Over the last six years, UFP students have progressed to 67% of the Russell Group universities.* UFP alumni have also progressed to attend 60% of the current top 20 UK universities.**

Our 2024 UFP cohort have achieved places at Durham University, University of Bristol and University of Exeter, which are all Russell Group universities and current top 20 UK universities**. Students will also progress to the University of Bath and Loughborough University, currently ranked 8th and 9th in the UK. One student has achieved a place at the University of the Arts London, which is ranked second for art and design in the QS World Rankings 2024.

Strong Academic Futures

STEM subjects are extremely popular amongst our UFP and A Level students at CATS Cambridge. This year, UFP students will be studying Biomedical Science, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at British universities. In the last five years, our students have progressed to study STEM degrees at 14 of the current top 30 UK universities**. Students also choose to study other traditional academic subjects. The 2024 cohort will be studying Economics, Law and Management at top 30 UK universities.

With state of the art science labs, well resourced classrooms and highly qualified teachers, CATS Cambridge offers an excellent academic foundation for university study in multiple subject areas. Students are challenged to pursue excellence in their chosen field, and provided with the strong foundation needed to succeed.

Sunny is a talented mathematician. Alongside his UFP courses, he has been studying A Level Further Maths, which demonstrates his passion for the subject. He has also participated in the Senior Mathematical Challenge 2023 and the Senior Kangaroo 2023 (a mathematical challenge).
